Help in e-mailing pictures

For the last couple of weeks, I have had trouble emailing pictures from my pictures folder. I highlight the photos to be sent, click to make them smaller for sending, then I get a message that says either no default mail client or current mail client cannot fulfill messaging request. Then it says to run microsoft office outlook and set it as my default. What can I do to be able to send pictures thru my e-mail? Thanks for your help!

Ken, who answered the question concerning sending pictures to e-mail from "My Pictures" in XP seemingly is uninformed. If you right click on a picture file, you are given a window with the choice of making the picture smaller before sending to your e-mail client.

I am having the same problem since the last couple of updates. Now, I get a window, after selecting picture size, that says there is no e-mail client. This has never happened before and like the previous poster would appreciate a real answer.

Thanks,

I'm unfamiliar with an option to "click to make them (images) smaller for sending". How are you able to do that? And have you tried sending an image without trying to make one smaller?
