Some have great success in making the change - I can't make the switch work... Can't get or send email with Thunderbird... A disappointment and a "Bummer" so far!

Can't get or send email with Thunderbird
The help links page that Otto recommended is surely the best place to get help with Thunderbird working for you, but I'd like to hear details on the process that you used to setup your emails accounts in Thunderbird. This is a marketing site for Thunderbird to encourage people to use Thunderbird because we know that they'll love it as we do, but it is important that you can actually use Thunderbird once you try it so please provide some details either here or on one of the actual Thunderbird support sites so that we can help you. At one point or another, we must all learn to use new software. Once you learn how to setup and use Thunderbird I'm sure that you'll enjoy it.
