Will Thunderbird work seamlessly with AVG Internet Security?
I've had a mind-bending experience with my ISP and AVG trying to get beyond specific Error messages that prevent me from using AVG and MS Oulook. They were supposed to work seamlessly, but that is not my experience.
I've tried for over 2 weeks, but nobody has given me step-by-steps on how to just simply get emails sent/received from me to my friends without the following error:
-----
Task 'mail.sfo.com - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC90) : 'Your incoming (POP3) e-mail server has reported an internal error. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: ?!0-cp01.sfo.com ESMTP Exim 4.69 #1 Sat, 25 Apr 2009 15:49:44 -0700 '
------
I really don't want to have to change my ISP, my AVG Internet Security software, and deal with my AT&T DSL provider about firewall exceptions.
Will Thunderbird be able to resolve these issues for me automatically, given that I have used Microsoft Outlook Express for years with absolutely no problems????
I need help and a friendly, English-speaking person to get me back to normal life with email and SPAM control!!
Thanks,
Larry
